| Edward Rico JR aka Poppey June 29, 1994- March 29, 2012 Edward was a very sweet loving 17 year old, who was shot in the head while leaving a party. He was a senior at Hope High School in Phoenix, Arizona. Edward was very well liked by everyone always surrounded by family and friends. Edward always had a smile on his face that would brighten up any room he entered. Edward leaves behind a loving mother, 3 sisters, 1 brother, and 1 niece. Loved and sadly missed by all his family and friends. |

After our loss, family and friends were determined not to let this tragedy destroy our lives. This is why the Dolores Ann Legault Foundation was started, to honor the memory of Dolores and help other families within our community.
FOUNDATION PURPOSE
We help families with funeral and burial costs after the loss of a child 19 years or younger, by homicide or tragic accident. We help empower youth to make the right choices in life while making them aware of the consequences in making the wrong choices. We help families find the right resources and see them through the traumatic loss of a child.
MISSION STATEMENT
We assist families in coping with the tragic loss of a child.
FOUNDATION HISTORY
Founded September, 2007 by Mark and Sandy LeGault, with the help and support of family and friends. Dolores Ann LeGault had her precious life cut short at 19 years of age by her ex-boyfriend, while their 4 month old son Samuel was present.
The LeGault's discovered that like most families, they did not have money put aside to bury their child. Who would ever think they would have to do such a thing? Their experience has shown them that this is the case for a lot of families whose children die unexpectedly via homicide or accidental deaths. The Dolores Ann Legault Foundation was created to assist those struggling with the loss of their child, and help to provide them with the necessary funds to bury them properly.

The Dolores Ann Legault Foundation is a 501© (3) public charity. Donations are tax deductible and can be made at any Wells Fargo bank. Account #8071798121. Our staff is all volunteer and we give all proceeds back to our community except for a minimal amount to run our non-profit organization.
